SMART Inclusion Workshops: Making Tourism More Inclusive

As part of the SMART Inclusion project, we organised a series of national workshops in Spain, France, and Greece to engage tourism professionals, educators, destination managers, and accessibility advocates on how digital tools and inclusive practices can transform tourism and hospitality.

These interactive workshops:

– Introduced the principles of inclusive and digital tourism.

– Showcased real-world good practices and innovative tools.

– Presented the SMART Inclusion Guide and its practical applications.

– Brought together professionals and stakeholders to exchange ideas and build stronger, more resilient, and more accessible destinations.

Each session offered hands-on insights, real-life examples, and a platform to share challenges and opportunities in creating tourism experiences that are welcoming and accessible for all.
