Hosted by EURAKOM in partnership with Hauts-de-France Innovation Tourisme (HIT)

On October 17th, 2025, EURAKOM organised the SMART II Workshop at the Palais des Congrès du Touquet Paris-Plage, bringing together key tourism stakeholders from across the Hauts-de-France region to exchange ideas and best practices around innovation, accessibility, and sustainability in tourism.

Facilitated by Nicolas Fourcroy Foucroy (CEO, EURAKOM) and Martin Vaegaeran (HIT), the event featured inspiring interventions from experts such as Stéphanie GATEAU (Handiroad), and a lively roundtable discussion with NUMACOM, PictoAccess, and GREENCAST.

Participants included representatives from regional tourism offices, public institutions, and innovative solution providers…

Key outcomes:

– High engagement and positive feedback from participants

– Valuable exchanges showcasing regional innovation in inclusive tourism

– Recorded sessions to be shared on EURAKOM’s YouTube channel for wider dissemination

– The workshop concluded with a networking lunch that encouraged collaboration and new project ideas within the SMART community.
