On June 4th, 2025, EURAKOM hosted an online webinar titled “From Accessibility to Inclusive AI”, as part of the International Week of Tourism for All, Sustainable and Solidary, organised by the International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO).

This event, part of the SMART Tourism Project (Erasmus+ Programme), brought together tourism and innovation professionals to discuss how technology — and particularly artificial intelligence — can foster more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable tourism experiences.

The webinar featured an exclusive dialogue between Stéphanie GATEAU, founder of Handiroad, and Nicolas Fourcroy, CEO of EURAKOM.

Through her experience with HandiRoad, Stéphanie shared her journey in creating a mobility solution designed for travellers with disabilities — highlighting both the challenges of accessibility in tourism and the opportunities emerging from new technologies.

Nicolas Fourcroy brought in the perspective of the SMART Project, which aims to integrate digital innovation, training, and inclusivity into vocational education for the tourism sector. Together, they explored how AI can serve as a tool for empowerment, improving user experience and accessibility while ensuring that ethical and inclusive principles remain at the core of technological development.
