On June 4th, 2025,<\/span><\/i> EURAKOM<\/span><\/i><\/a> hosted an online webinar titled \u201cFrom Accessibility to Inclusive AI\u201d, as part of the International Week of Tourism for All, Sustainable and Solidary, organised by the<\/span><\/i> International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO)<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

This event, part of the<\/span><\/i> SMART Tourism Project<\/span><\/i><\/a> (Erasmus+ Programme), brought together tourism and innovation professionals to discuss how technology \u2014 and particularly artificial intelligence \u2014 can foster more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable tourism experiences.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

The webinar featured an exclusive dialogue between<\/span><\/i> St\u00e9phanie GATEAU<\/span><\/i><\/a>, founder of<\/span><\/i> Handiroad<\/span><\/i><\/a>, and<\/span><\/i> Nicolas Fourcroy<\/span><\/i><\/a>, CEO of<\/span><\/i> EURAKOM<\/span><\/i><\/a>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Through her experience with HandiRoad, St\u00e9phanie shared her journey in creating a mobility solution designed for travellers with disabilities \u2014 highlighting both the challenges of accessibility in tourism and the opportunities emerging from new technologies.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Nicolas Fourcroy brought in the perspective of the SMART Project, which aims to integrate digital innovation, training, and inclusivity into vocational education for the tourism sector. Together, they explored how AI can serve as a tool for empowerment, improving user experience and accessibility while ensuring that ethical and inclusive principles remain at the core of technological development.<\/span><\/i><\/p>
