During four months \u2013 June-September 2025 \u2013 DomSpain organized a Conference a cycle of co-design workshops targeting tourism professionals, trainers working with them, associations of customers with special needs. The workshops emphasized the importance of making tourism practices more accessible and inclusive and showcased how digital tools can promote sustainable and regenerative tourism strategies while enhancing accessibility for families and individuals with disabilities.<\/p>

During the workshops, an engaging and educational accessible tour Reus Modernisme through the streets of Reus was developed, designed to raise awareness of accessibility issues and social inclusion.<\/p>

The piloting of different parts of the tour was started in September 2025 and in October, the whole tour,with the duration of 4 hours was open for visitors. The participants gather at Casa Gasull at 10 am, following with Modernisme masterpieces in Prim Square, Llovera street, having a short tour in the Museum of Gaudi, and finishing the excursion at the Bofarull Palace. Facilitated by trainers of DomSpain and the Ans Educaci\u00f3 team, the outing highlighted the architectural and social barriers that can hinder mobility and coexistence in the urban environament and also provide Technology-based solutions.<\/p>

As attendees \u2013 tourism professionals, trainers, p\u00fablic authorities, people with disabilities, s\u00e8niors – \u00a0explored some of Reus’s most iconic locations, they gained firsthand insight into the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. This immersive experience encouraged cooperation and empathy between participants, helping to reinforce the principles of community and social interaction.<\/p>

By integrating SMART Digital tools into the narrative of inclusive tourism, the workshops and their result \u2013 inclusive route – aimed to translate collaboration between community agents into actionable local strategies. Attendees expressed their enthusiasm for a tourism model that prioritizes local engagement, accessibility, and foster a community-oriented approach to tourism practices.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
